Two students, Michaela McNicholas, seven A’s in her Leaving Cert and Allannah Duffy, ten A’s in her Junior Cert were honored during a presentation ceremony held in the school on Friday 25th September.
School Principal, Mr. Culkeen said the consistent hard work of the students together with the great dedication of the teachers in the school, culminated in these and other students achieving exceptional results in the state examinations.
Allannah will represent the school in the “Irish European Union Science Olympiad” (IrEUSO) later next month, a competition for students who achieved exceptional grades in Junior Cert Science.
Michaela is currently studying Veterinary in UCD.
We wish both girls the very best.

Ballinrobe Community School are delighted with the Leaving Cert results this year, with students at all levels achieving results which were in many instances above their expectations.
One student achieved seven “A” s, (595 points) while eight students achieved in excess of 500 points.
